This piece is inspired by the sexiness of movement, the feeling of being content. For me it involves the different pieces that makes us who we are. For me there is the aspect of my need for colour, excitement and happiness combines with the need for structure and order to make sense of things.
This piece is my depiction of what anger feels inside, and the way that we try and control it. The lines and geometrical shapes are the way that we believe need to deal with anger and emotions that are usually denoted as bad.
This is a large painting celebrating daring to have adventures, colour and chaos are the center of all the craziness, still the is the personality issue that wants control and a plan, why the colour are directed through a maze that will eventually lead nowhere.
My sketches are made usually in my beloved collection of Moleskines (I truly recommend everybody walking around with one. you never know when you'll have a moment to just draw). Also there is always time for silly illustrations, everybody has an inner 4 year old.
